Hello!
I have a dilemma.
I wish to create at least five short, one-shot manga. However, I only have one idea of my own!
I know it's a HUGE stretch, but I was wondering if anyone had any rough ideas floating around I could steal.
For instance, my idea I have for the first one-shot is:
A character who is the sheltered child leaves home for the first time, college. They meet some friends who teach them that the world is different from what they were taught, and they struggle with what life they now wish to lead.
If anyone has ideas, and I use them, I will credit you in the book's dedication.

An idea-collection topic! Awesome.
I didn't know ideas can be patented.
Short stories, I've got one!
Protagonist searches for his missing pet to find that it's being used as a sacrifice for a dubious demon-summoning ritual by a bunch of edgelord teens. Having stepped into their hideout, he has to escape the place unscathed - with his cat, of course. The story ends with him out of harm's way and the police notified. The teens are caught and the ritual is disbanded. It's possible to make sequel chapters and turn it into a long story by giving a cliffhanger ending -- the ritual seemingly failed, but unknown to all, the teens DID manage to summon a demon at the end! So now you have an eldritch entity lurking in the mortal world.

Alien race of people who are cosmetically human, but are biologically constructed with lego-like, interchangeable doll components. Their homeworld is entirely made of plastic and have purposely blown up their sun in order to preserve their beautiful cities.
They are able to become "different people" by switching out their hearts and brains for new ones sold at merchant stores. Such parts require batteries powered by a fictional energy source called "A-HA-181"; derived and aerodynamically extracted from the uncontrollable laughter of their neighboring alien enemies. Merchant stores are actually just cardboard cutouts of "storefronts". A town merchant square slightly resembles a pre-k theatre play.
Due to their unhealthy cultural dedication to plastic and cardboard structures, their infrastructure is laughably weak. Cardboard "storefronts" are often blown away, brains and hearts tumble out and end up on people's lawns and backyard grills.
Since their planet does not have a sun, their light source is produced from sneezing. The main allergen of their alien race, color saturated, led-infused paint, is injected directly into the food they eat in tiny amounts. This causes their noses to run. The mucus is actually luminescent, and they run around with glowing runny noses. It is tradition to station tissues around town [the tissues are actually skinned cardboard], where the aliens can wipe their noses and hang the glowing runoff on their walls and ceilings to provide as a light source.
It is very impolite to say "bless you" on this planet.
[This isn't really a plot per say, but an idea for a setting/race I've been sitting on for a while. Feel free to do whatever you'd like with it.]
