I want to post my wips for chapter 5.2 for my webcomic, Snippets. This is a part of the first page. This page's all ready completed. For every update, I make 6-7 pages. Now, I'm going for a steady 7 pages per weekly update. I put them all in a long-strip. The trend for web-comics nowadays are long-strips, so I follow that. It's easier to gain audience that way because it's what the masses are currently into. I do post them in single pages at a separate hosting site. Usually, I make thumbnail sketches before I make the comics in ComiPo. I sketch out how I want the panels to look like. It helps for a faster, more efficient work flow. I sketch them in SAI digitally. Right now I've lost the files (FUCC) but thumbnail sketches are basically very messy sketches you make to decide on comic layouts, dialogue balloons and character positioning, etc. This is the second page. If possible, I'd love to make speedcreate videos on my pages. But recording and editing is a pain.

Sketching thumbnails in SAI digitally is an excellent idea. I'm sorry that you've lost your files, though.
Speedcreate videos would be lovely!
The long-comic format is very popular. I like it a lot.
Your first page looks good so far. I love the lighting on the first panel.

Hello everyone, it's WIP update time. I'm almost finished with 7 pages. I usually place the character figures first to pinpoint their positions and see what angles I like best. Then, I place the dialogue balloons. The initial process of each page looks like this. When typing in dialogue, I feel it's important to make sure the text fits in as neatly as possible. Long sentences should be broken into small lines that are easy to read. I get bored with all the face close-ups so I try to focus the panels on items or other non-character focused shots. But it has to be related to what the character is doing, and where they are at. Or else it'll just be weird and meh. Here, he's taking out a new cup from a cupboard (haha cups ok i'll stop) Aaand, the last page! Back to close-up shots...I'm not good enough OTL Anyway, there is one panel not yet done. I'm planning to use it to show a strong expression. I've also recorded a speed-create video and am editing it. It's how I made the first page of this chapter. It'd be great if I can show it without the speed-up, because then it'll be easier to see how I make pages from start to finish. But that crap's like nearly 2 hours and that's overkill.

I tried breaking the monotony of character close-ups. I used the pail model to act as a trash can. Got to improvise~~ Water pouring into a cup scene. It looks rather awkward. After adding effects. The water flow looks better I think, but now the colour reminds me of pee. Hahaha The picture's orange-y to imitate a sunset, evening ambience. I'm almost done with the chapter, in a few hours hopefully I can update!
