It's daydreaming time! (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*: ・゚
One day you wake up and hear that there's a huge update coming for Comipo! the next week. Something our friends from Degica hint to be... "memorable." You close your eyes and ask yourself: what do I want the most? And what do we all need the most?
Today I want to you to point out one or two features that you believe could really improve the software... and, therefore, your work. Don't forget to explain us why! (It can be anything related to the software, from assets to general tools.)
I would like to say some words on headshapes and custom poses. Yes, huge stuff, but I said anything, right? xD
If I could name one thing that always knocked down my excitment to work with this software, that would be "the head model issue". We can do our tricks to fully customize faces, expressions, hair; use filters, photoshop the page all up... and our lovely protagonist will still must certainly have the same headshape of all their mates from the same gender. For this matter, AKIO-NIOR's V-Shape Chin was a true life saver, but at the end it just turns one option... two. And when you think about it, you also start to ask: how many doors would be openned for us if instead of a new outfit set, Comipo! LLP comes up with a... Chin-pack DL? I'm not even talking about a full head model here. No, just chins. Not much. Five. Four. Three...? Two for a good price? Gzees, take my beloved blazers back if you want, but gimme my chins, please.
And then there's custom poses. Yeah, I know we all already went there. Some of you guys even made tutorials to help others try to drible the pose limitations - damn sure the whole community is immensively grateful for that. But until some months ago, an "in-software custom pose maker" was something we could only imagine... Now, with KumaKuma Manga Editor making its first steps, we can actually see how that would work. And boy, as someone who tested it (Custom Pose Evolution DL included)...
...the emotion went straight to the heart.
Yes, I know. Different software, code-base, model behavior (maybe...? just guessing), two years in the making of KKME... Still, it means it is possible somehow. And with something like that on the market, if Comipo! doesn't come up with any helping tool in the next, like, two years... KKME will (probably) have had time enough to become the next-generation comic maker.
Buuuuut that's just my opinion. Made this thread to hear yours!
